the Underground AM: Sunday mornings, from 9-10:35.  From 9-9:30 we offer continental breakfast and a time for fellowship, before gathering for the program.  The program includes music worship, an inspiring biblical message, and a variety of other aspects from video announcements and skits, to student Minute for Witnesses.  Middle and high school students are combined for everything but the message.

the Underground PM: Sunday evenings, from 5:15-7 for middle school, and 6:30-8:30 for high school.  This is a unique time of fellowship and discipleship in the forms of hanging out, eating yummy snacks, group games, and biblical discussion with D/C groups.

D/C Groups: Short for Discipleship/Community groups.  D/C groups are the student ministries version of small groups.  Every group is made up of 8-12 students of same gender and similar age, and 1-2 same gender adult leaders.  Groups grow in Christ together through biblical discussion and sharing life together, as they get to know one another throughout the year. 

Hub Events: Events geared towards building relationships through fun activities. They take place once a month, typically on a Friday evenings for middle school, and Sunday evenings for high school.  Some Hub Events are middle and high school combined.

Youth Worship Ministries:  These ministries include the Youth Choir, Youth Orchestra, Celebration Handbells, Liturgical Dancers, Drama Team, and Worship Teams.  The Youth Choir leads worship weekly for the 8am Sunday worship service, while Youth Orchestra and Liturgical Dancers join them once a month.  Celebration Handbells, Worship Teams and the Drama Team participate for special occasions.  Visit the main VPC website for details...

Service Projects: Join other students and leaders for some community service on weeknights or weekends. 

The Street Room: The cool room with all the street signs where many aspects of the Underground programs take place.

Hang Rooms: Lounging couches, video games, pool, air hockey, ping pong tables, and more in these youth hangout areas in the Underground

Multi Room: Everything and anything can happen here: Dodge Ball, Steal the Bacon, other fun games, Middle School AM messages…you name it.

Moose: That really tall guy that some of us might know as the director of student ministries.
